The city of Philadelphia may have prematurely revealed some of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game rosters through public decorations. Banners featuring prominent players have been displayed around the city ahead of the July 14 game at Citizens Bank Park.

Images of these decorations, shared by X user @gerawaycar, indicate that players such as Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers, Paul Skenes of the Pirates, and Juan Soto of the Mets are likely to be selected for the All-Star Game. The banners also suggest that Angels outfielder Mike Trout, despite a .234 batting average, is expected to make his 12th All-Star appearance. New York Yankees pitcher Cam Schlittler and Padres closer Mason Miller appear poised for their first and second All-Star selections, respectively.

The user documenting the findings expressed surprise at the apparent early leak of roster information. "I think the city of Philadelphia just leaked some of the all stars," she posted.

The official announcement of the American League and National League teams is scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The New York Yankees have several players who could be named All-Stars, including Schlittler, first baseman Ben Rice, outfielder Cody Bellinger, and potentially Aaron Judge, though he is not expected to play due to injury. Among the New York Mets, Soto is considered the most likely candidate, with reliever Luke Weaver also noted as having made a strong case, though relief pitchers often face challenges in earning All-Star selections.
