Patriots Downplay Injury Impact as Key Offensive Players Ruled Out for Dolphins Game

The New England Patriots will be significantly shorthanded on offense for their upcoming divisional game against the Miami Dolphins, having ruled out three key players. Wide receiver A.J. Brown, running back TreVeyon Henderson, and offensive tackle Marcus Bryant have all been declared out.

Brown's absence is due to ankle and knee injuries. This latest setback comes after he previously suffered an ankle injury in the season opener, which led to him spending four games on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain. He had returned to play in the two games prior to this announcement. The wide receiver joined the Patriots via a trade from Philadelphia, amid reports of a deteriorating relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Henderson is sidelined with an illness. This will be his second missed game of the season, having previously sat out the opener with an ankle injury.

Bryant has been on injured reserve for the entire season. While he was designated to return and practiced fully throughout the week, his ankle injury has now ruled him out for Sunday's contest.

The Patriots will face the Dolphins without these offensive contributors as they look to improve their standing in the AFC East.
