Former Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria has taken to LinkedIn to announce his availability as a free agent and seek new club opportunities. The 28-year-old player is looking for a new team after his contract with Spanish club Real Oviedo expired following their relegation from LaLiga.
Ejaria posted on the professional networking platform, sharing footage of his play and detailing his experience. He listed his primary positions as central midfield (6, 8, and 10) and secondary position as left winger. Ejaria, who is based in London, highlighted his past clubs, which include Liverpool, Sunderland, Rangers, Reading, and Real Oviedo.
He joined Liverpool's academy from Arsenal in 2014 and made his senior debut in 2016. During his four years at Anfield, Ejaria made eight senior appearances. His time at the club included loan spells at Sunderland, Rangers, and Reading before he transferred permanently to Reading in 2020.
After four years with Reading, Ejaria moved to Real Oviedo last year. However, the Spanish club finished at the bottom of LaLiga last season, resulting in their relegation to the second tier, and Ejaria's contract also concluded.
During his time at Liverpool, then-manager Jurgen Klopp noted Ejaria's potential and attitude, describing him as an example for young academy players integrating with the senior squad. Ejaria made eight appearances for Real Oviedo in the last campaign.
