Oregon Quarterback Dante Moore 'Going to Be OK' After Concussion, Coach Says
Dan Lanning provided a positive update on Dante Moore's recovery following a head injury sustained during the Ducks' win over USC.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has expressed optimism regarding the recovery of quarterback Dante Moore, who suffered a concussion during the team's recent victory against USC. Lanning stated that Moore "is going to be OK" but emphasized that the team will proceed with caution during his rehabilitation.
Moore sustained the concussion in the second quarter of Oregon's 41-27 win over USC when he was hit in the head by linebacker Desman Stephens II while attempting to slide. The incident led to a confrontation between players and coaches from both teams, and Stephens was subsequently suspended by USC for its next game.
Following Moore's injury, backup quarterback Dylan Raiola stepped in and delivered a strong performance. Raiola completed 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions, in the game against USC. He had also performed well in the previous week's game against Portland State, completing all 11 of his passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns.
Lanning praised Raiola's readiness, stating, "You talk about owning a role and not waiting for your opportunity but preparing for your opportunity, and Dylan's a guy that prepared for his opportunity."
The Ducks' win over USC improved their record to 3-1, moving them up to No. 15 in the AP Top 25 Poll. Oregon began the season ranked No. 2, but dropped in the rankings after a close win against Boise State and a subsequent loss to Oklahoma State.
Oregon is on a bye in Week 5. Their next game is a home matchup against No. 23-ranked UCLA on October 10.
