New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby described his teammate Karl-Anthony Towns' recent wedding as "a good wedding" in his typical understated manner. The comment came during an event in Times Square on Tuesday, where Anunoby partnered with Essentia for a basketball-themed takeover.

Towns and Jordyn Woods were married in a ceremony in Malibu, California, over the weekend. The event followed the Knicks' championship victory two months prior, a season marked by a 13-game winning streak, playoff sweeps, and a celebratory parade in the "Canyon of Heroes."

Anunoby, along with fellow Knicks players Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Jose Alvarado, and Miles McBride, attended the wedding. The ceremony also drew celebrities such as Timothée Chalamet and Ben Stiller.

Photos from the event showed Anunoby wearing a suit, white shirt, and white sneakers. Brunson, who was present with his wife Ali, was seen with a cast on his surgically repaired left wrist.

Towns and Woods had been a couple for over five years before their marriage. Guests at the wedding reportedly received sweatshirts with the slogan "Married in 5," a reference to the Knicks' playoff run. Anunoby, while not elaborating on details, hinted at enjoying the celebration at the Essentia event, which involved recreating a significant basketball play.
