Odell Beckham Jr. received a notable increase in first-team repetitions during the New York Giants' training camp on Tuesday. Head coach John Harbaugh described the shift as part of a daily rotation, but the elevated practice time for Beckham, who has been effective in creating separation during drills without drawing targets with the second-team offense, could signal a desire for deeper evaluation. He nearly completed a touchdown pass during the session, but the play was ruled out of bounds.

Elsewhere on the offensive side, quarterback Jaxson Dart drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following a touchdown run. The team also saw a reduction in penalties compared to the previous day, halving the number from seven to four, though four false starts were still recorded.

Practice Drills and Personnel Changes

The Giants focused on individual matchups, conducting their most extensive one-on-one drills of the camp, pitting receivers against cornerbacks. Wide receiver Dalen Cambre demonstrated his ability by shaking off rookie cornerback Colton Hood in coverage, while cornerback Art Green made a diving, one-handed pass breakup. The remainder of the team engaged in 9-on-7 run-game work.

In terms of player availability, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster did not practice due to knee swelling. Wide receiver Malachi Fields was also held out of 11-on-11 drills. Cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse missed his second consecutive day of practice.
