New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. executed a memorable one-handed catch during a recent practice session. The veteran receiver snagged a pass thrown behind him, managed to get his feet down inbounds, and appeared pleased with the play, letting out a "shriek" described as "That's more like it."

The practice also highlighted other players' performances. Quarterback Jaxson Dart connected with wide receiver Darnell Mooney for a touchdown pass down the seam. Mooney was noted for having multiple sideline catches throughout the day, suggesting he is performing at a level worthy of a starting role.

However, the practice was not without concern. Center John Michael Schmitz Jr. was overpowered during a pass rush by edge rusher Abdul Carter, raising questions about Schmitz's strength against bull rushes, a point of concern in his previous seasons.

The team also reported several injuries. Wide receiver Calvin Austin III sustained a knee injury that could be season-ending. Additionally, wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (ankle/leg), offensive guard Josh Ezeudu (leg), and tight end Theo Johnson (who collided with Kayvon Thibodeaux in a previous practice) did not participate. Offensive guard Francis Mauigoa and right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor were limited to individual drills.
