New York City FC is exploring the possibility of bringing U.S. Men's National Team star Christian Pulisic to the Big Apple, according to reports. The Major League Soccer (MLS) club's interest comes as Pulisic is currently competing with the USMNT in the World Cup.

Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that NYCFC is prepared to offer Pulisic a $10 million contract. However, The Post has not been able to independently confirm this specific financial figure. As of now, Pulisic's current club, AC Milan, is reportedly not interested in trading the 27-year-old forward. Should AC Milan's stance change, other MLS teams are also expected to show interest, according to The Athletic.

Pulisic has been a key player for the United States during the World Cup, making a significant impact in the team's opening match against Paraguay. He departed that game due to a left calf injury, which caused him to miss the subsequent match against Australia. He has indicated to reporters that he is aiming to return for the team's final group stage game against Turkey.

MLS teams, including NYCFC, are currently on hiatus during the World Cup. NYCFC is currently on the playoff bubble and is scheduled to move into a new stadium in Queens in 2027. The potential acquisition of Pulisic could significantly boost the club's profile leading up to this move.

Pulisic, who hails from Hershey, Pennsylvania, began the season strongly for AC Milan before a dip in scoring. He concluded the Serie A season with eight goals and six assists.
