NRLW star Jaime Chapman has responded to a social media troll who criticized her weight, opting for a humorous and cutting reply.

Chapman, a player for the Gold Coast Titans, posted images on Instagram of herself during a drive in a Ferrari Portofino convertible outside the Gold Coast. The photos showcased her in the driver's seat and the luxury vehicle's exterior against a rural backdrop.

While many of her followers reacted positively, with fellow NRLW player Tiana Penitani commenting "Purrrrrr," one user left a comment stating, "Lose weight."

Chapman directly addressed the remark with the question, "Can u pay for my lipo?"

This incident follows earlier criticism Chapman faced after her broadcast debut for Channel Nine during the NRL Magic Round earlier in the year. During that appearance, she interviewed fans and provided match analysis. Despite receiving praise for her on-camera work, she was subjected to online comments attacking her intelligence, appearance, and past relationship with Dolphins star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.

Chapman, 24, has previously spoken about the challenges of adjusting to public attention. She has acknowledged the difficulty but also expressed her commitment to inspiring younger generations and promoting women's rugby league as a career.

One Instagram troll broke from the positive reaction and targeted Chapman’s appearance with the blunt comment: ‘lose weight’

Chapman has become a prominent figure in women's rugby league and has also ventured into television, appearing on the reality program "Rivals: Sport vs. Sport" alongside other athletes.
