NRL Star Cody Walker Announces Engagement to Long-Time Girlfriend Amy Curmi
The South Sydney Rabbitohs player shared the news on social media following the birth of their first child last year.
South Sydney Rabbitohs player Cody Walker has announced his engagement to his long-time girlfriend, Amy Curmi.
Walker, 36, confirmed the news on social media on Saturday, posting a picture of himself and Curmi embracing. In the image, Curmi is seen flashing a diamond engagement ring.
"We left Australia as parents, we're returning as bride and groom to be," Walker captioned the post, also thanking Simon Curwood Jewellers for the ring.
Several of Walker's rugby league colleagues congratulated the couple in the comments. Liam Knight, a veteran for South Sydney, expressed his happiness for the pair, while Luke Burgess and Jamal Fogarty also offered their congratulations.
In December, Walker announced he had become a father for the fourth time with the birth of his daughter, Keari Lou Walker. He noted that his newborn shares a birthday with one of his older children, Kian.
Walker's youngest son, Kora Alfie, was born in August 2024.
