Northampton and Bath have been handed demanding draws for the upcoming Champions Cup season. Both English clubs will compete in Pool Four, a group that includes the South African side Bulls, who reached the United Rugby Championship final, and French Top 14 runners-up Montpellier.

Completing Pool Four are Stade Francais, semi-finalists in the Top 14, and Cardiff, the highest-ranked Welsh team in the URC.

Elsewhere in the competition, Bristol faces a tough Pool Three schedule, which includes matches against Gloucester, Munster, and a reunion with defending champions Bordeaux-Begles. The French powerhouse secured a narrow victory over Bristol at Ashton Gate during the previous season's pool stage.

In Pool One, Leinster is set to compete against Leicester, Sale, and Glasgow. Saracens and Exeter have been drawn into Pool Two, where they will face four-time French champions Toulouse, along with Connacht.

In the second-tier Challenge Cup, Harlequins will play against three-time Champions Cup winners Toulon, Edinburgh, and Ospreys. Newcastle faces Scarlets, Benetton, and the Sharks in Pool Two of the same competition.

Ulster's French opposition in Pool Three of the Challenge Cup includes Bayonne and Perpignan, alongside Welsh side Dragons.

The full fixture list, which will determine home advantage, is expected to be announced later this month.
