No. 1 Nebraska Volleyball Faces No. 15 Indiana in Big Ten Showdown
The undefeated Cornhuskers travel to Bloomington to take on the Hoosiers in a highly anticipated conference matchup.
No. 1 Nebraska is set to face No. 15 Indiana on Thursday night at Wilkinson Hall in a Big Ten volleyball contest. The Cornhuskers enter the match with a perfect 15-0 overall record and a 4-0 record in conference play. Indiana holds a 10-3 overall record and a 3-1 record in the Big Ten.
Nebraska's most recent performance was a 3-0 sweep against Maryland on Oct. 3. Indiana's last match was a 3-1 victory over Rutgers on Oct. 4.
This marks a significant Big Ten matchup between two ranked teams. Nebraska is the top-ranked team in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, released on Oct. 5, while Indiana is ranked No. 15 in the same poll.
Last season, Nebraska defeated Indiana in straight sets at Wilkinson Hall on Nov. 22, 2025. That victory secured the outright Big Ten title for the Cornhuskers.
The match is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on BTN and available for streaming on FOX One, which offers a three-day free trial.
Nebraska's remaining schedule on FOX networks includes home games against Wisconsin, Purdue, UCLA, USC, and Minnesota, as well as road matches at Oregon and Washington. The Big Ten Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 20-25, with FOX broadcasting the championship match if Nebraska advances.
