No. 1 Nebraska Set to Host No. 7 Wisconsin in Big Ten Volleyball Showdown
The top-ranked Cornhuskers face a ranked conference opponent at home on Saturday.

No. 1 Nebraska will host No. 7 Wisconsin on Saturday night in a key Big Ten Conference volleyball matchup at the John Cook Arena in Lincoln. The Cornhuskers enter the contest with a perfect 16-0 overall record and a 5-0 mark in conference play. Wisconsin, meanwhile, holds an 11-4 overall record and is also undefeated in conference play with a 5-0 record.
In their most recent matches on Oct. 8, Nebraska swept No. 15 Indiana 3-0, while Wisconsin also swept No. 24 Illinois on the road, marking the Badgers' seventh consecutive victory.
Nebraska is currently ranked No. 1 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, released Oct. 5, with Wisconsin holding the No. 7 spot in the same poll.
Last season, Nebraska defeated Wisconsin 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-13) in Madison on Oct. 31, 2025. This marked the fourth consecutive sweep of the Badgers for the Cornhuskers, a first in the 39-match series history between the two programs.
The match is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX. Streaming options are available through FOX One, with a three-day free trial offered.
Nebraska's remaining schedule on FOX networks includes matchups against Purdue on Oct. 17, UCLA on Oct. 22, and USC on Oct. 24, all to be played in Lincoln. The Cornhuskers will also face Oregon and Washington on the road in early November, and host Minnesota on Nov. 17. The Big Ten Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 20-25 in Fishers, Indiana, with FOX slated to broadcast the championship match on Nov. 25, provided Nebraska advances.
