The National Football League has introduced its latest collection of "Rivalries" jerseys, featuring updated designs for eight teams in the AFC South and NFC North divisions. The new uniforms, which incorporate elements inspired by each team's community and history, were unveiled on Tuesday.
To help launch the initiative, the league enlisted several NFL stars, including former wide receiver Randy Moss, who donned the Minnesota Vikings' updated purple and gold uniform. Other notable figures participating in the unveiling campaign were Lions wideout Jameson Williams, Packers quarterback Jordan Love, Texans receiver Nico Collins, and Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner.
Each uniform showcases unique details reflecting its respective team's identity. The Green Bay Packers' jersey includes "stock certificate-inspired details woven into the numbers and sleeves" to acknowledge their fan ownership model. The Minnesota Vikings' design references the Gjallarhorn, a symbol associated with the team. For the Houston Texans, the new uniforms feature chrome finishes inspired by the city's custom car scene, while the Tennessee Titans' jerseys incorporate neon-inspired numbers and guitar/amplifier-inspired striping.
The NFL's "Rivalries" program, first launched in 2025 with teams from the NFC West and AFC East, proved successful, with Fanatics reporting its "best-selling merchandise release to date" from the initial rollout. Teams that participated in the 2025 program will wear their special jerseys again for select regular season home games.
Teams from the AFC South and NFC North will wear their new "Rivalries" uniforms during one home game against a divisional rival later this season. The league plans to expand the program with more teams in 2027 and 2028.
The new merchandise will be available for purchase starting September 1 at various retail locations and online through Fanatics.com.
