NFL Returns to London for Colts vs. Commanders Matchup
The league's international series continues with its first of three London games, featuring the Indianapolis Colts against the Washington Commanders.
The National Football League's international series recommences today with the Indianapolis Colts facing the Washington Commanders in London. This marks the first of three NFL games scheduled to be played in the United Kingdom over the next three weeks.
The game is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Fans can watch the contest for free via a five-day trial of DIRECTV's streaming service, which includes the NFL Network.
Both the Colts and Commanders have prior experience playing internationally. The Colts participated in the league's first-ever game in Madrid, Spain, last season, while the Commanders played in the first NFL game held in Paris, France. The Colts currently hold a 2-1 record, while the Commanders have yet to secure a win in international play, with an all-time record of 0-2-1 in games played abroad.
Following this matchup, two more games will be held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 11, and the Houston Texans vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 18 at Wembley Stadium. The NFL's international slate continues with games in Paris, Madrid, Munich, and Mexico City throughout the fall.
