Nebraska Volleyball Resumes Match Against Missouri
The top-ranked Cornhuskers will restart their game against the Tigers from 0-0 after the original meeting was suspended.
Top-ranked Nebraska is set to host Missouri on Wednesday night at the Bob Devaney Sports Center to conclude their nonconference schedule. The match will be a restart from 0-0, as the teams' initial meeting on September 6 at Wrigley Field in Chicago was suspended.
Nebraska enters the contest with a perfect 10-0 record, while Missouri holds a 7-4 standing. The Cornhuskers are the No. 1 team in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll. Missouri's losses this season include matchups against No. 5 Louisville and No. 25 Oregon, with victories over Arkansas State, Wichita State, Florida Gulf Coast, and Bowling Green.
Historically, Nebraska has dominated the series, leading 74-3-1. The Cornhuskers have won their last 18 matches against the Tigers. Their most recent encounter was in the second round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, where Nebraska secured a sweep.
The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on BTN. It can also be streamed on FOX One.
Following this nonconference game, Nebraska's schedule includes several Big Ten matchups airing on FOX networks.
