The cause of death for NBA forward Brandon Clarke has been determined as an accidental overdose, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office. The 29-year-old athlete's death was attributed to the effects of heroin and cocaine.
Clarke was found unresponsive in a San Fernando Valley home on May 11. At the time of discovery, drug paraphernalia was present at the scene, authorities reported. The medical examiner's confirmation comes several months after his body was discovered.
