Morgan Riddle has stated that she is "not erased" from the tennis world following her breakup with World No. 7 Taylor Fritz. Riddle, a lifestyle creator and co-founder of The 400 Club, a sports marketing agency, discussed her plans for remaining involved in tennis during a recent appearance on the “Hot Smart Rich” podcast.
Riddle indicated that she will continue to attend tournaments and create content related to tennis. She confirmed that she has upcoming commitments for the U.S. Open. "I still am gonna go to tournaments. I would still love to make content around tennis. I already have deals for the U.S. Open, I’m going to the U.S. Open," she said. Riddle added that many women have expressed a desire for her continued commentary and content surrounding the sport.
"It’s not like I’m erased from that world. Obviously I’m going to enter into it in a different way, but I’ve had a lot of girls reach out and be like, ‘Please don’t leave the tennis world. We still want this sort of content and commentary around it,'" Riddle stated. She emphasized that while her involvement will be different and less frequent, she is not abandoning tennis due to the breakup, noting that she and Fritz remain friends.
Riddle and Fritz ended their six-year relationship in April. Riddle told the podcast host that she initiated the breakup. Although the pair are on amicable terms, she stated she does not regret the decision.
