Mitchell Robinson, who spent eight seasons with the New York Knicks, is now playing for the Boston Celtics, having signed a three-year, $47.4 million contract in free agency this past summer. Robinson returned to TD Garden on Friday, the same arena where he previously played as a visitor.
"I brought so much light to this team," Robinson said, apparently in jest, as he acknowledged his former team's locker room. Despite the change in affiliation, Robinson indicated there is no animosity regarding his departure from the Knicks.
