Mikel Arteta Commits to Arsenal Until 2030
Manager signs contract extension with Premier League champions, signaling commitment to continued success.
Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract with Arsenal, extending his tenure as manager of the Premier League champions until 2030. The agreement underscores Arteta's ambition to build a lasting legacy at the club, viewing last season's Premier League title, the first in two decades, as merely the starting point.
Arsenal's co-chairmen, Stan and Josh Kroenke, expressed pride in the team's achievements under Arteta since his return in 2019. They highlighted his deep understanding and embodiment of Arsenal's values, stating his commitment to further success. The near miss in the Champions League, though disappointing, has also served as a significant motivator for the manager and the team.
Arteta's decision to sign an extension reflects his dedication to the squad he has cultivated into one of Europe's top teams. With his future secured, the foundation of Arsenal's recent resurgence is firmly in place, with the manager focused on achieving more history with the club.
