Michael Olise has been described as 'heartless' by the mother of his secret 20-month-old daughter, who alleges the footballer has never met his child and has not contributed financially to her upbringing.
Fatima Zaunbrecher, 34, revealed her story to German outlet BILD, stating that Olise, 24, has not spoken to her since their daughter Aaliyah Noor's birth and has opted to communicate solely through legal representatives. Zaunbrecher claims Olise's lawyers advised him that meeting his daughter "wouldn't be productive."
"How heartless can you be towards your child?" Zaunbrecher questioned in the interview. "He doesn't even talk to me, and just sends his lawyers instead. And then they send me letters saying that 'it wouldn't be productive for their client to see the child'. Another of his lawyers wrote to me suggesting I buy the little girl secondhand clothes to make ends meet with the money I have right now."
Zaunbrecher, who resides in Dusseldorf, met Olise on Instagram in 2022. Their relationship began while Olise was playing for Crystal Palace, prior to his transfer to Bayern Munich. After exchanging messages for two months, Zaunbrecher traveled to London for their first date. She described an immediate connection, noting shared interests such as a dislike for large crowds and parties, and their shared North African heritage.
The relationship reportedly became strained due to Olise's extensive PlayStation use and alleged infidelity. Zaunbrecher stated she broke up with him over concerns about another woman. Two weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant. A paternity test, conducted in Munich at Olise's request, confirmed his fatherhood, yet he has reportedly never met Aaliyah.
Sources close to the footballer have suggested to BILD that Olise has not refused contact with Zaunbrecher. However, Zaunbrecher claims she has been in legal disputes with Olise's lawyers for over two years regarding alimony, after an initial offer she deemed 'ridiculous'.
Olise maintains a private public profile, and following the publication of this story in the German press, his social media comments sections were reportedly overwhelmed, leading him to disable the feature on Instagram. BILD also published a document they presented as confirmation of Olise's paternity. Olise has not yet publicly commented on the allegations.
