Video footage has surfaced showing Alessa Holloway, wife of fighter Max Holloway, and their son, Rush, taunting Conor McGregor following the abrupt end to their UFC 329 bout. The fight was halted early when McGregor sustained an injury after an awkward landing from a jumping head kick attempt. As referee Mike Beltran stopped the contest, Rush Holloway was heard yelling "Who's your daddy? Who's your daddy, now?" while his mother, Alessa, gestured with outstretched arms.

Rush's taunts appeared to reference a pre-fight promotional video where McGregor had referred to Max Holloway as his "child," stating he had "son'd Max when I fought him last." The pair first fought in 2013, with McGregor winning by unanimous decision.

Max Holloway secured the victory at UFC 329 in an anticlimactic fashion. McGregor injured himself during the initial moments of the fight. Despite attempting to continue, he was unable to put weight on his right leg, leading to the stoppage. According to Max Holloway, McGregor did not request the fight be stopped and insisted on continuing.

UFC CEO Dana White and others have indicated the injury was not pre-existing, and the head kick was McGregor's planned offensive move. McGregor himself posted on social media Sunday morning, stating, "My head gasket is gone. Destroyed. I had not injury / injuries going into the fight. I was throwing kicks, planted and jumping, all throughout camp as well as backstage before the fight. This came out of nowhere."

Following the fight, Max Holloway called for a rematch with McGregor, who has one fight remaining on his UFC contract. The crowd at the event reportedly reacted negatively to the fight's premature conclusion, with many booing, feeling they were deprived of a full contest.
