Gabriel Martinelli has finalized a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal from Arsenal for an initial fee of £60 million. The transfer includes a fixed sum of £60 million, along with a sell-on clause, concluding the Brazil international's seven-year association with the North London club.
Martinelli, 25, has signed a long-term contract with Al-Hilal. The Saudi club currently shares the top position in the league with Al-Nassr, a team led by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The forward joined Arsenal from Brazilian side Ituano in 2019. He had 12 months remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium but was informed by manager Mikel Arteta that he was not part of the team's plans for the current season.
