Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has received permission to travel to Spain to finalize his transfer to Celta Vigo. The Turkey international is expected to join the Spanish club on an initial loan deal, with an option for a permanent transfer around £3.5 million. Celta Vigo will cover Bayindir's full salary, and the deal includes various performance-related bonuses. Manchester United will also retain a significant sell-on percentage should the buy option be exercised.
Bayindir, 28, joined Manchester United from Fenerbahce in 2023 for £4.3 million. During his tenure, he has made 17 appearances and is seeking more regular playing time.
In a separate deal, Manchester United has also agreed to sell goalkeeper Radek Vitek to Middlesbrough for £14 million. This fee includes bonuses for the 22-year-old Czech player. The agreement also incorporates a 35% sell-on clause, matching rights, and a buy-back option for Manchester United.
