Manchester United Fans Criticize Player's Attire After Poor Performance

Manchester United fans have voiced their displeasure not only with the team's performance but also with a specific fashion choice made by player Noussair Mazraoui during a recent match. Mazraoui was seen wearing black full-length leggings during Manchester United's 4-1 Champions League loss to Como on Wednesday evening, a decision that drew criticism from supporters.

The team's defeat in Como extended their winless streak across all competitions to seven matches, with their last victory dating back to September 10. The recurring poor performances have left the fan base disheartened.

The addition of Mazraoui's leggings to the on-pitch discussion added another layer of frustration for some fans. Despite the temperature in Como being a mild 14 degrees Celsius, the 28-year-old Moroccan international's attire was noted.

On social media platform X, formerly Twitter, fans expressed their bewilderment and frustration. One user wrote, "Mazraoui wearing tights sums it all up games gone," while another commented, "I knew we were getting hammered when I saw Mazraoui wearing tights." Another fan humorously depicted Mazraoui struggling to remove the leggings after the match.

One supporter jokingly suggested that manager Michael Carrick's "biggest tactical errors tonight were not putting Lisandro on media duties and allowing Mazraoui to wear leggings." This comment alluded to previous public criticism from Lisandro Martinez.

Mazraoui had also faced scrutiny earlier in the week for his role in Leeds' equalizer during a 1-1 draw, which stemmed from a cheaply conceded corner. Manchester United is set to host Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday, with both the team and Mazraoui looking to break their current winless run.
