Manchester City is reportedly in contention with Tottenham for the signing of Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo, with just three days remaining in the transfer window.
In parallel, the club is exploring a potential move for Everton's Iliman Ndiaye, a transfer that could command a fee of approximately £80 million. Ndiaye has three years remaining on his current contract and has rejected offers for an extension.
Liverpool has indicated that they would require a substantial offer to consider selling Gakpo. The Merseyside club has stated that they need to secure at least two additional forward players before entertaining any offers for the Dutch international. To date, Liverpool has not received an official approach from either Manchester City or Tottenham for Gakpo.
Manchester City is also actively pursuing Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea. While Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool has been mentioned as a secondary target, no contact has been made regarding his potential transfer. Tottenham has also expressed interest in signing Ndiaye and is reportedly considering a move for Manchester City's Jack Grealish.
