Pop star Madison Beer and NFL quarterback Justin Herbert have announced their engagement, sharing the news on social media on Tuesday. Beer posted on her account, captioning a photo of the couple, "Meet my fiance."
The engagement comes weeks before Herbert is set to begin training camp with the Los Angeles Chargers for the 2026 NFL season. The couple was first seen together in August 2025, attending a music video shoot for Beer, followed by a dinner outing.
Shortly after, they were photographed holding hands in Los Angeles the day after Herbert led the Chargers to a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil, marking the first game of the 2025 NFL season. Throughout the season, Beer was frequently seen supporting Herbert from the stands, and he, in turn, supported her during her worldwide "The Locket" tour this year.
Beer spoke about Herbert's influence on her life in an interview on the "Call her Daddy" podcast last December, stating, "I feel, like, taken care of in a way that I can break down and like I have someone to lean on." She described his arrival in her life as "perfect timing," noting that their first date occurred at her home due to their initial hesitation to go out in public. Herbert has also expressed appreciation for Beer's impact on him.
