Anamaria Goltes, the ex-fiancée of Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić, has requested a judge dismiss her petition for child support and attorney fees against the NBA player. The move comes as the couple continues a custody battle over their two young daughters, Gabriela, 2, and seven-month-old Olivia.

In court documents filed Monday, Goltes stated her intention to resolve the matter amicably and through mutual agreement for the best interests of their children. However, the request has not yet been finalized by the court as Dončić's signature was reportedly missing from the submitted documents.

Dončić, 27, and Goltes, 28, have been engaged in a contentious legal dispute since earlier this year. The couple's split was announced in March, just months after the birth of their second daughter. At the time, Dončić cited the difficulty in having his daughters with him in the U.S. during the NBA season as the reason for ending the engagement, stating, "Everything I do is for my daughters' happiness and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can."

The situation escalated with Dončić accusing Goltes of filing for child support in California to take advantage of the state's legal provisions. Court filings indicate Dončić's legal team argued that neither Goltes nor the children are residents of California, as they live in Slovenia.

Following the conclusion of the Lakers' season in May, Dončić announced he would not play for the Slovenian national team over the summer to dedicate more time to his daughters. He expressed his disappointment about not being able to represent his country but emphasized his priority as a father. "Unfortunately, it has been made extremely difficult for me to see them over the past eight months," he stated on Instagram, alongside an image of himself with his eldest daughter, Gabriela.
