Luka Dončić offered a touching tribute to LeBron James on social media shortly after news broke that James will leave the Los Angeles Lakers in 2026.
Dončić shared a photograph of himself and James embracing on his Instagram page. His caption read, “An honor to play with and learn from you @kingjames.”
The social media post came just a few hours after reports indicated that James would be moving on from the Lakers, concluding his eight seasons with the team. The Lakers organization also posted a farewell message to James on X (formerly Twitter).
James's departure from Los Angeles has sparked speculation about his next team, with rumors circulating about potential moves to the Golden State Warriors and other franchises.
