Luke Littler secured the Czech Open title on Sunday, overcoming world number one Luke Humphries in a compelling final in Prague. The victory marks Littler's first European Tour event win since the Belgium Open in March.

Littler navigated a challenging path to the final, defeating Krzysztof Ratajski, Danny Noppert, and Michael van Gerwen. In the final against Humphries, Littler trailed 4-3 before winning four consecutive legs to establish a 7-4 lead. Although Humphries narrowed the gap to 7-6, Littler capitalized on a missed double 16 by his opponent, closing out the match with a 39 checkout.

The win not only secures Littler's place at the European Championship in Dortmund this October but also sets up a continued rivalry with Humphries. "This is what the fans are in for - me and Luke are back," Littler stated after the match. "The two best going at it in a final once again. I'm glad I've won."

Humphries, who was aiming for his fourth Czech Open title and third in a row, expressed resilience despite the loss. "I was going to pull out Thursday, and I made the final, so I can't be too upset with myself because I did really well," he said. "I never give up, especially in finals. I know that Luke is obviously going to throw everything at me. Hopefully over the next four months, I push him."
