Leicester City will make their return to the FA Cup first round when they travel to face National League North side Oxford City in the 2026-27 competition. This marks the Foxes' first appearance at this stage of the tournament since 2008.

Leicester City, who won the FA Cup in 2021, were relegated to League One for the current season and are currently 14th in the table after an inconsistent start. Russell Martin manages the side.

The draw saw 91 teams named, with four sides reaching the first round proper for the first time. Among the notable fixtures, Peterborough United will host Reading in a match that will see Posh manager Robbie Savage face his son Charlie's team.

The lowest-ranked team to reach this stage is Tadley Calleva, who will play away at Barnsley if they progress past Aldershot in a replay. Meanwhile, Bradford City, the highest-ranked team entering the competition, will welcome Marine.

Eighth-tier side AFC Rushden & Diamonds has advanced through five previous rounds to reach the first round proper. Their reward is an away tie against League One club Burton Albion.

The first round matches are scheduled to take place around the weekend of Saturday, November 7.
