All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH) star Lee Moriarty is focused on upcoming marquee matches at AEW's major event, All In, in London, anticipating inspiration from the championship contests.
Moriarty, who will not be competing on the All In card, identified the AEW World Championship match between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay, and the AEW Women's World Championship bout between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné as the events he is most looking forward to.
"I would definitely say the two big marquee matches are AEW men's and AEW women's championship matches," Moriarty told OutKick. "Both Kenny Omega versus Will Ospreay just because of the history they've had through the years. And one of my all-time favorite matches I've ever watched was at Forbidden Door Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay. I think it was in Canada at that time. And then we have Mercedes Moné against Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women's World Championship. And their history going back to the New Japan Strong Championship, the TBS Championship."
He cited the extensive history between the competitors in both matches as a reason for his anticipation. "So, there's just so much history between both of these competitors in each match and I think those are going to be really special and I'm looking forward to watching that and being inspired by it," Moriarty added.
Moriarty has previously competed at All In, participating in an eight-man tag team match at last year's event. His team, Shane Taylor Promotions, lost to the Sons of Texas.
When asked about his path back to an All In match, Moriarty emphasized continuous effort and preparation. "I think it's just going to take work like I've been doing. Continue to put in the work. A lot of professional wrestling is timing and preparation. I'm prepared. It's just the timing thing and I'm going to get there. I do believe that. I'm going to continue to prove I am one of the best professional wrestlers when it comes to technical wrestling in the world. And right now, I'm the best pure wrestler on the planet."
Moriarty recently defended his Ring of Honor Pure Championship against Katsuyori Shibata at the Death Before Dishonor event.
