Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was involved in a high-speed crash at the Italian Grand Prix, prompting a suspension of the race. The incident occurred on the second lap when Leclerc lost control of his car at the Parabolica corner while battling Oscar Piastri for fourth place.

Leclerc's car made significant contact with the barriers. He was seen sitting on the grass, appearing to be in pain and holding his neck, before being attended to by a marshal and taken to the medical car. Ferrari later confirmed he had been released from the medical center without injury.

The dramatic crash led to the race being red-flagged, causing distress among the home crowd supporting Ferrari.

Prior to the crash, Leclerc had been involved in an on-track incident with his teammate Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton expressed his frustration, stating, "Charles pushed me off," after falling to 10th place from his starting position of fourth. The two Ferraris had made contact earlier in the lap at the Del Refillo chicane.

Organizers announced that the race was scheduled to resume at 2:39 PM UK time. Leclerc's stricken car was taken away by crane.
