Lakers Sign Forward Anton Watson to Exhibit 10 Contract

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Anton Watson to an Exhibit 10 contract, the team announced Thursday.

Watson, 6-foot-8 and 225 pounds, played for the South Bay Lakers, the team's G League affiliate, last season. During his time with the South Bay Lakers, he averaged 11 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.4 steals in 27.3 minutes per game.

Watson was originally selected 54th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2024 NBA Draft. He was later waived by the Celtics in March 2025 and subsequently played nine games for the New York Knicks.

Prio r to his professional career, Watson played five seasons at Gonzaga University, from 2019 to 2024.
