Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray was evaluated for a concussion during his debut game with the team on Sunday after absorbing a late hit in the first quarter.
The hit came from Green Bay Packers players Javon Bullard and Lukas Van Ness. Bullard was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness following the play. Initial replays showed Murray, 29, appearing to hold his left leg after the collision. However, the CBS broadcast later updated viewers that Murray was being assessed in the concussion tent.
Murray was making his first regular-season start for the Vikings after previously playing for the Arizona Cardinals. The game marked a significant moment for the 29-year-old quarterback as he began his tenure with his new team.
