Samantha Busch, widow of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, has shared the touching way their 4-year-old daughter Lennix is remembering her father. Kyle Busch died unexpectedly on May 21 at the age of 41 after falling ill in a racing simulator. His death was later attributed to sepsis caused by pneumonia, which led to rapid blood clot formation.

In a social media post, Samantha revealed that Lennix now eats her breakfast in front of two photographs of her father. "Morning breakfast with Daddy," Samantha wrote, sharing a picture of Lennix at the table. "She wakes up every day, tells him how her sleep was, what she's doing today and asks if he's having fun in heaven."

The couple, who had both their children, Lennix and son Brexton, through IVF, also established a charity to assist others in accessing healthcare. Samantha, 40, previously shared a poignant Father's Day tribute to her late husband, marking the first Father's Day since his passing.

"This still doesn't feel real at all," Samantha wrote in her Father's Day post. "I was up all night thinking about what today should have looked like for Kyle and the kids. The Father's Day cards that were already made, sitting in a drawer with no one to give them to. Trying to figure out how to navigate a day that should be filled with so much joy for them."

She described Kyle as a devoted father who was always present for his children. "He was the dad who never missed a chance to be silly, race the kids around the neighborhood, wrap them in his arms, or stay up a little longer for one more book, one more question, one more moment." Samantha stated that nothing made Kyle prouder than being a father.

"Kyle, the kids and I miss you every second of every day," she continued. "Our hearts ache for you, but it's more than that. Your absence is something we physically feel. Our bodies hurt from missing you, from reaching for someone who isn't there, from loving someone we can't hold anymore. I will keep telling your stories, sharing your laughs, and making sure Brexton and Lennix always know just how deeply they were loved by their dad."

Kyle Busch's death certificate indicated he was cremated in Mooresville, North Carolina. Samantha had previously been invited to the White House by Donald Trump to discuss efforts to reduce healthcare treatment costs, a testament to their charitable work.
