All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has bolstered its tag team division with the addition of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, who debuted Sunday at the promotion's major event, All In, held at Wembley Stadium in London. The duo, now performing as The New Level, immediately made an impact by winning the AEW World Trios Championship as part of a three-man team with Swerve Strickland.
The seven-team championship match began during the pre-show 'Buy In' and extended into the early minutes of the main card. The Tag Team formerly known as The New Day in WWE entered the match as surprise "wildcard" entrants. Their appearance marked their first in AEW since becoming free agents.
During the championship match, the team of Strickland, Kingston, and Woods faced off against champions Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King, among other competing trios. In a pivotal moment, Kingston was nearing elimination, but received assistance from Prince Nana, who helped keep him in the match. Strickland, Kingston, and Woods capitalized on the opportunity, eventually defeating their opponents to secure the championship.
AEW owner Tony Khan later confirmed that Kingston and Woods have officially signed with the promotion. This victory marked the second title change of the event, following Persephone's win for the TBS Championship earlier in the show.
