The New York Knicks will officially celebrate their 2026 championship with a banner-raising ceremony and ring distribution on Tuesday night. The event, scheduled to begin around 6:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden, will precede the Knicks' season opener against the Philadelphia Sixers.
Legendary play-by-play announcer Mike Breen is set to host the "Banner Night" festivities. The ceremony will open with a special video narrated by actor and noted Knicks superfan Ben Stiller. The entire event will be broadcast on NBC.
Madison Square Garden has also updated its "Garden 366" display to include new entries commemorating the Knicks' championship victory. The display features historical events and moments, now including the fictional NBA Finals game on June 10, 2026.
