Los Angeles Dodgers player Kiké Hernandez is heading into the MLB postseason with a notable new accessory: a custom-made diamond necklace valued at approximately $45,000. The piece was crafted by Happy Jewelers, a Southern California-based company.
The necklace is made of 14-karat gold and features 173.45 carats in total weight of lab-grown pink diamonds, along with 80 additional graduated bezel-set diamonds. The entire piece weighs 68 grams.
Hernandez is set to debut the necklace during the upcoming playoff run. The Dodgers, who hold the No. 2 seed in the National League West, have earned a first-round bye and are scheduled to begin their World Series campaign on Saturday. Their opponent will be the winner of the wild-card series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves. The first game of the series will take place at Dodger Stadium.
