Top British tennis player Katie Boulter has married her fiancé, Alex de Minaur, in a private church ceremony in Leicestershire. The couple, both professional tennis players, tied the knot on the final day of the Wimbledon tournament.

The 'low key' and 'intimate' ceremony took place in a village church near where Boulter, 29, grew up. De Minaur, 27, is Australia's top-ranked male player. The couple have been together for six years.

They arrived at the church together in a black Porsche Carrera. De Minaur, dressed in a black suit with a white shirt and bow tie, drove them to the venue. Boulter wore a long white gown with her blonde hair styled up.

The wedding was attended only by family members. A female vicar officiated the late afternoon service. Locals who were aware of the wedding had been asked to keep it a secret. A few well-wishers gathered outside the church to catch a glimpse of the couple.

Boulter, currently ranked number two in Britain and 60th in the world, was recently defeated in the first round of Wimbledon. De Minaur, ranked world number six, was also eliminated in earlier rounds of the tournament. The wedding took place concurrently with the Wimbledon Men's final, where Jannik Sinner defended his title.

A family insider noted that the event was deliberately low-key and personal. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds reportedly celebrated with a gathering at a nearby pub.

Boulter was reportedly thrilled that her grandfather, Brian Boulter, was able to attend the service. He is currently receiving hospital care, and his presence was important to Boulter, who is described as being exceptionally close to him.
