Kate Goodland, wife of England captain Harry Kane, has shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband following his Ballon d'Or win. Kane was crowned the world's best footballer on Monday night, an achievement that Goodland celebrated in a social media post to her 478,000 Instagram followers.

"Words can’t even describe how proud I am of you," Goodland wrote. "Your hard work, dedication and resilience are something I’m in awe of every single day. Every setback you’ve faced, you’ve come back stronger."

Kane, who was also awarded the Striker of the Year award, stood alongside his wife at the ceremony in London. The couple later celebrated with friends and family at an afterparty. Goodland expressed her joy at seeing her husband's talent recognized, stating, "I’m so glad the world gets to see your incredible talent, dedication and all the hard work you’ve put in to get here. Kane, 33, has settled in Bavaria with his family since joining Bayern Munich from Tottenham. He and Goodland, his childhood sweetheart whom he married in 2019, have four children: daughters Ivy and Vivienne, and sons Louis and Henry.

Goodland, a sports science graduate and professional fitness coach, has been a consistent presence in Kane's career. The couple are reportedly thriving in Germany, where Kane has achieved significant success. During his time with Bayern Munich, contributing to the team's double-winning season, and with England's third-place finish at the World Cup, Kane scored 73 goals. His 61 goals for Bayern Munich in a single season marked a significant achievement, surpassing all other players in Europe's top five leagues for that season. His total goal involvements, including assists, reached 81.
