Justin Rose achieved a memorable moment during the final round of the Tour Championship on Sunday, sinking a "slam-dunk" hole-in-one on the ninth hole.

Rose, playing in the PGA Tour's season-ending event at East Lake in Atlanta, struck a six-iron from 208 yards on the difficult par-3 ninth. The ball carried over water and landed directly in the cup, marking a rare and spectacular ace.

While this highlight was a standout moment for Rose, his final round also included a bogey on the subsequent par-4 tenth hole. Rose, the 2018 FedEx Cup champion, secured his 13th PGA Tour victory earlier in the year at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Earlier in the round, Scottie Scheffler, ranked world No. 1, came close to an ace on the second hole, hitting his tee shot within three inches of the cup. Scheffler was among the top contenders in the season finale.

The 46-year-old Rose is preparing for the 2027 season, with an eye toward making his eighth appearance in the Ryder Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Ireland in the fall.
