Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert narrowly avoided a collision with a cameraman during a practice drill on Monday. The incident occurred as Herbert prepared to start a drill, mimicking a snap and dropping back, when a cameraman approached rapidly, passing inches from the quarterback.

Video of the near-miss, shared by ESPN's Kris Rhim, shows that alerted individuals shouted a warning, allowing Herbert to halt the drill and avoid contact. He then appeared to check downfield before returning the ball to his coach.

The footage quickly gained traction online, with many Chargers fans expressing frustration over the cameraman's proximity to their team's key player. Some viewers noted that the cameraman was subsequently told, "That’s your only warning!" indicating he was close to facing repercussions for his actions.

Herbert, who appeared unfazed by the incident, completed the practice session without further issue. The event highlighted concerns about safety protocols and access during team practices.
