Red Bull New York has secured its rising star, Julian Hall, to a four-year contract extension, keeping the 18-year-old striker with the club through the 2029-30 season. This landmark deal also makes Hall the youngest player in Major League Soccer history to sign a U-22 initiative contract. The Manhattan native's previous agreement was set to expire next winter, making this new pact crucial for the club's future planning.

"This club has been a huge part of my development, and I’m grateful for everyone who has believed in me and helped me get to this point," Hall said in a statement. "I feel like I’m continuing to grow as a player, and I’m excited to keep working, keep improving and help this team achieve our goals."

Hall has emerged as a significant force this season, tallying 12 goals and five assists across all competitions. He previously set an MLS record as the youngest player to achieve a hat trick in a match on May 13. His impressive performance has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Marseille, Newcastle United, Atletico Madrid, Red Bull Leipzig, and Hull City.

While Hall has expressed a childhood dream of playing in Europe, his immediate focus remains on his current team. The new contract ensures that the Red Bulls will receive compensation should Hall eventually move to a European club, preventing his departure for free.

Discussions regarding Hall's international future are also ongoing. Poland has made efforts to recruit him for its national team, leveraging his heritage. Hall has also been involved with the U.S. youth national team program. Head of Sport Julian de Guzman indicated that a call-up to a senior men's national team before the end of the year would not be surprising.
