Venture capitalist Josh Kushner has finalized the $12.5 billion purchase of the Los Angeles Lakers, agreeing to all remaining terms with current owner Mark Walter. The deal was concluded at Walter’s home in Florida, sources confirmed to the California Post. Kushner has reportedly secured the necessary funds to complete the transaction.

The sale marks a swift turnover for the Lakers, as Walter had purchased the team from the Buss family just 10 months prior for $10 billion. The agreement between Walter and Kushner was initially reached in August. The finalized deal now awaits approval from the NBA's board of governors.
