Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been removed from the NFL's commissioner exempt list and is eligible to return to the team for Week 7. Despite this roster change, Jacobs remains under an ongoing NFL investigation.
The league's review is not impacted by his return to availability, according to a statement from the NFL.
Jacobs was arrested in May following an alleged altercation with his then-girlfriend. He subsequently pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property. He has not played this season.
