Jonathan Quick is joining the New York Rangers organization in a player development capacity, taking on the role of director of goaltending development. Quick will be part of the team's player development staff and will report to Tanner Glass.

This move comes after Quick concluded his 19-year National Hockey League career, which included playing three seasons for the Rangers, the team he supported growing up. The organization plans for Quick to oversee the development of its goaltenders across various leagues, including the AHL Hartford team.
