Veteran NFL quarterback Joe Flacco has publicly criticized Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders for his choice of on-field attire, specifically his use of a tinted visor during games. Flacco described Sanders' decision to wear the visor as appearing like a "f–king idiot."
Sanders, the son of former NFL star and current Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, has frequently worn a mirrored visor on his helmet during games. This practice has drawn attention and sparked discussion among fans and analysts. Flacco, a Super Bowl XLVII champion, shared his perspective on the matter, suggesting it was a poor choice of equipment.
The comments from Flacco add to the ongoing discourse surrounding Sanders' visibility and performance on the field. Sanders has been a prominent figure in college football since his father took over the Buffaloes program, leading them to a surprisingly successful start to the 2023 season.
