Jets Wide Receiver Garrett Wilson Not on Trade Block, Report States

The New York Jets have no intention of trading wide receiver Garrett Wilson, according to an ESPN report. Despite the team's 2-5 record this season, there is "no way" the Jets will part with their star player.

Jets ownership views Wilson, 26, as a key building block for the team's future and is reportedly unwilling to trade him. Wilson himself has stated his commitment to New York.

"I want to be here, man," Wilson told reporters. "I want to win games, and that's the one thing we've been missing on here. I love it here. Do I love it more than I love winning? Nah, to be completely honest, but I'm hopeful."

Wilson signed a four-year, $130 million contract extension with the Jets 15 months ago, which runs through the 2030 season. This financial commitment further solidifies his long-term presence with the team.

Since being drafted 10th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, Wilson has been a productive player for the Jets, even amidst inconsistent quarterback play. In seven games this season, he has recorded 37 receptions for 444 yards and three touchdowns.
