The New York Jets have revealed new white helmets and matching jerseys that will be worn for their "White Out" home opener against the Green Bay Packers on September 20, 2026. The unveiling took place Tuesday morning.
The white helmets feature a green version of the Jets' updated logo on the sides, a green "NY" logo at the forehead, and a green stripe running along the top. The accompanying white jerseys will have green numbers and stripes.
Several Jets players, including Geno Smith and Breece Hall, modeled the new gear. A video featuring player reactions to the helmet unveiling was shared on the team's official X account.
It has not yet been announced if the "White Out" uniforms will be used for additional games during the 2026 season. The team is looking for a spark as they aim to break a 15-year playoff drought, the longest in North American professional sports, following a 3-14 record in the previous year.
